Nuri

Terms of use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms are between you and Suket Bhola ("we" or "us"), the developer of Nuri. By using Nuri you agree to them. They add to Apple's standard licence agreement for apps, which also applies. Where the two disagree, these terms apply, except where Apple's agreement says otherwise.

Using Nuri

Nuri is for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the app or what's in it, try to take the app apart or get around how it works, or collect its content with automated tools.

Scenes from YouTube

Nuri plays scenes in YouTube's embedded player, using YouTube API Services. By using Nuri, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information when a scene plays is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The videos belong to their owners. Nuri doesn't host them, and we don't control them. A video can be removed, blocked in your country or changed by its owner or by YouTube at any time, and when that happens the scene may stop playing or disappear from Nuri.

What we write

The translations, word meanings and explanations in Nuri are written by us, with the help of AI, and checked before they're published. We work hard to get them right, but they can still contain mistakes, so please don't rely on them where an exact translation matters. If you spot one that's wrong, tell us at suket@nurilang.com and we'll fix it.

Nuri helps you understand more of what you watch. It doesn't promise any particular result, such as passing a test or a level of fluency.

Subscriptions

Copyright

If you own a video or other material and believe Nuri uses it in a way that infringes your rights, write to suket@nurilang.com with the scene, the material and your contact details. We'll respond promptly, and we can remove a scene from Nuri.

No warranty

Nuri is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or right for your purposes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by YouTube, Apple or anything else outside our control. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Nuri in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as Nuri changes. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app or on this page before it applies, and the date at the top will change. Using Nuri after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, unless the law where you live says your local law applies.
